Booking Policies

We’re so excited to welcome you onto one of our courses! To keep everything fair and clear, please take a moment to read the booking policy below:

• All course dates are offered on a first come, first served basis with 50% deposit to secure. You can pay in full if you would like.

• Remaining balance to be paid on the day. Unless a payment plan has been agreed with Kelly. Please note that no materials or certificates will be released until the balance has been paid in full.

• All deposits are non-refundable, but you are welcome to reschedule your training once if needed. Any further reschedules due to cancellation or sickness will incur a £25 admin fee. When you book and make payment for any training course, you are wavering your cancellation rights as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

• Extenuating Circumstances: We understand that emergencies and unforeseen events can happen. If you are unable to attend for serious reasons, please contact Kelly as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling options.

• Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email, invoice, and your course materials. Please ensure we have your correct email address and check both your inbox and junk mail folders.

• Any course materials provided (including manuals, videos, worksheets, and resources) remain the intellectual property of The Wax Teacher and must not be copied, shared, or used for commercial purposes.

• Please read all emails carefully and respond to any requests promptly, as failure to provide certain information may affect your ability to complete the course.

• If we have to cancel your training date for any reason - you can either reschedule a new date free of charge or you can have a full refund.

• If anything is unclear, or if you’d like to discuss payment plans, please don’t hesitate to contact Kelly directly — we’re here to help.

• Courses may finish earlier than times given, as these are approx.
  Times and will depend on how quick we get through the course material and how quick each student learns.

• It is students full responsibility to read through manuals before coming to your training as there will be a short quiz.

• All courses are insurable and accredited. However, it is the students responsibility to check with their insurance provider or to ask when enquiring.

Course entry requirements​

It is the sole responsibility of the consumer to make all necessary inquiries with the governing body and insurance provider for their respective country in relation to accreditation/recognised qualification regarding any course. Please note that recognised accreditation varies between different countries.

• Full Body wax is for complete beginners or professionals who wish to refresh their skills.

• Advance female intimate hot waxing is for those who have completed any Full Body wax course or those who are qualified and wish to refresh their skills and become speed waxers - a copy of your certificate will be required upon booking.

• Facial Wax is for complete beginners or professionals who wish to refresh their skills or train in hot wax techniques 

• The complete course is for complete beginners or professionals who wish to refresh their skills or train in hot wax techniques

Certificates​

You must provide us with your full name as you would like it to appear on your certificate when booking, as certificates are issued on the day.

Any inaccuracies in spelling due to a typing mistake made by student may incur fee to have reprinted. 

Misplaced or lost certificates can be reprinted and will incur an administration fee of £10 per certificate to have re-issued.

Goody bags and kits

As per your consumer rights you have 14 days to return any product unused and unopened.

Kits are non refundable whether purchases with or without a course. 

We waive any rights to recourse for kits supplied we are not the manufacturer of these kits so if any product is not to the correct standard we recommend you contact the supplier directly.​

Goody bags are subject to availability and may contain different items each time and are complimentary. The goody bags items retail up to £30.

Medical Conditions & Special Training Requirements​

Please make us aware of any serious health conditions that may affect your practical training days. All students are required to disclose any medical conditions at the time of booking, as an important part of training is to deliver and receive treatments.​

Please also make us aware of any special requirements you may have in order for us to adjust the training day so we can acomodate you. Please ensure you bring along appropriate glasses/eyewear or anything else you may require for training.

Model Requirements

You must source your own models - minimum 2. If you need some help with this - let me know. 

Models must be 16+ for body/facial waxing (18+ for female intimate waxing including basic bikini)

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the course, or if you disagree with the final grade/outcome please submit an email within 7 days of the course.

Please allow up to 14 days for a reply.

Other

During the Course you must, at all times:

• Act and behave appropriately, antisocial behaviour towards either our trainer or other students will not be tolerated.

• Dress appropriately in smart, comfortable clothing or your uniform. Scrubs are excellent!

• Ensure that your hair is tied away from your face.

Failing to hit certain criteria may mean we cannot provide your certificate. In this case you will have the option to resist any assessments at another date within 6 months of assessment date. Fee of £50 will apply to come back and resit where we can cover areas of struggle again and resit your practical assessment.

After passing the course - I am able for any help and will follow up with you to ensure you are confident and ready to go. If you feel you need a little more training in certain areas please reach out and we can go over some training. Must be within 6 months of completion date.

It is your responsibility to check any additional requirements from your local council from where your business operates. 

Our waxing courses are accredited by IPHM Beauty.
